1. Do you have any skills or talent that most people don’t know about?
Most people don’t know that I have an artistic side and that I could draw pretty well. I grew up drawing a lot and was especially fond of doing pencil sketches, but as I got older I had less and less time to spend on it and it is no longer something I practice often. I don’t usually advertise this to many people and it’s something I keep to myself, however, when the skill is called upon I am able to pull it out of my back pocket so I guess I could call it a hidden talent.
2. If you went to happy hour, what would you order?
I would order a Long Island Ice Tea. I like it because although it has a rather deceiving name and appearance, it is a drink that taste good but still packs a nice hit of alcohol which is perfect for me.
3. What’s your favorite bubble tea?
I can’t say I have one favorite bubble tea drink although I usually choose the mango slush or red bean roasted milk tea. I get the mango slush on hot days or when I’m particularly thirsty as I find it very refreshing and mango is my favourite flavour. As for the red bean roasted milk tea, it is my go to drink for when I plan on sitting for awhile to finish an assignment or binge watch Netflix.
4. What do you want to accomplish on AOA?
As an executive on AOA this year, I hope to give back to the management community by bringing opportunities and events to them. I want to help erase the stigma surround accounting as a profession and promote it to all the students in UTSC management. I also hope to grow professionally and as a person as well as expand my connections within the student body and the accounting industry.
