  1. What is one of your favourite quotes of all time?

“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” – Thomas A. Edison

  2. If you could be anyone else who would you be and why?

I’d like to be someone not yet born, someone living their lives 300 years after I die. I’d like to see the progress we make as a species, especially on space exploration. I’d love to take a vacation out on Mars or even go to work on the moon, which should take about as long as it takes to get downtown during rush hour. I’d also like to meet my descendants 300 years into the future, talk about family reunions.

  3. If you were lucky enough to win the lottery, what would you do?

Assuming I win a lot. Right off the bat I’d probably try one of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants, and that’s about half of my winnings spent on one night. I’d donate a sizable chunk to charities, pay off my debts, and save some for rainy days. Also, I’d really like to start my own company too, although this probably won’t cost as much as that fancy dinner.

  4. Why did you become a part of AOA?

It’s the only application deadline I didn’t miss. In all seriousness though, accounting is something I’m interested in as a specialist and as a career. During my first year I saw many of their events and really wanted to help the club create opportunities and open doors for the hundreds (probably thousands) of like-minded individuals specializing in accounting at UTSC and ensure they had everything they needed to succeed in this enormous industry. Their logo and colours look pretty nice too.
