What is one of your mottos in life?
“Life isn’t short, it’s the longest thing you’ll ever have.”
If you could compare yourself to a character in a TV show, movie, etc., what character do you think is most similar to you and why?
I think I’m most similar to the character Uraraka from My Hero Academia. She is a quiet person but is able to see the big picture in complex situations. She also wants what’s best for her friends and family as she expresses that they are very important to her and motivate her to do well in her studies.
In your opinion, what is the scariest interview question you have been asked or can be asked?
The scariest interview question that could be asked in an interview is although very common: “What is your greatest weakness?” In this question, you have to be honest, have enough courage to express your faults and most of all, prove to the interviewer that you are someone who is willing to improve when this weakness comes to play in situations.
If you were lucky enough to win the lottery, what would you do?
I would travel the world! I have been to Hong Kong and Japan, but I really want to explore Europe (France, Italy), Asia (Korea, Taiwan, Thailand), and some resort islands. I would also pay off all of my OSAP because I need to win the lottery at this point to achieve that.
Why did you become a part of AOA?
In first year, I was searching for ways to be involved at UTSC because I did not want to just focus on school for 4 years; I wanted to be a part of student life. I found AOA a great way to meet passionate people, get connected with accounting professionals, improve my soft skills, and overall make great memories beyond the classroom. From events associate, to events director, and now president, it’s been a great journey so far. I am very excited for what’s to come this academic year and I hope you are too!
