1. Who inspires you?
My inspiration comes from my high school calculus teacher. She inspires me not to stress about little things and when things go wrong, we have to move on. I hold onto this value throughout my first year of university to keep reminding myself that I should take on challenges every day because that is how you learn from life.
2. Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What did you want to be when you grow up?
When I was 10, I wanted to be a teacher. By doing so I placed all of my stuffed animals in my room and started to teach them. I even wrote notes to pretend that I was teaching the kids and give them quizzes. Sometimes I would even force my sister to answer the questions on the board.
3. What do you want to make sure you do before you die?
Before I die, I want to go to travel to Paris, Italy, and Korea. Those are the places that I have been wanted to go for a long time. To be able to travel to those places and see different culture truly makes me happy.
4. What do you want to accomplish on AOA?
As an events director, I want to create events that would allow students to learn the skills that would not be able to learn it in class, for example, soft skills that we can develop during networking events. I also wanted to bring the best experience to students by introducing them to the accounting industry and find their interests. Whether they thought about what career they want to pursue, I hope to help them to learn about different career pathways that they haven’t considered.
